Advisors' Opinion:
  • [By Federico Zaldua]

Banco Frances (BFR), 75% controlled by Banco Bilbao Viscaya Argentaria, is among the biggest banks in Argentina. The bank has the smallest exposure to Argentina's public debt out of the three banks analyzed in the article and presents the lowest pace of growth. That said, its one of the healthiest banks in the country given that it has the lowest NPL ratio and the highest reserve ratio to absorb potential losses. The bank also trades cheaply at 3.5 times P/E and 85% its book value. Being more expensive (although still very cheap relative to the sector's average) and with the lowest liquidity among this group of three, I would exclude Banco Frances from my Argentinean bank portfolio.

How does the old saying go? Beggars can't be choosers? Two weeks ago, yours truly penned some bullish comments regarding OncoSec Medical Inc. (OTCMKTS:ONCS). The long and short of it was, if ONCS could clear a technical ceiling around $0.36, then life would get much easier for the bulls.

If you're looking for the next big biotech breakout stock, then OncoSec Medical Inc. (OTCMKTS:ONCS) deserves a place on your watchlist. This volatile cancer play has been down more than up 2011, but if you look closely at a long-term chart of ONCS, you may find it's already wiggled its way into a new uptrend. The Q3 2014 earnings report for small cap insurance software stock Ebix Inc (NASDAQ: EBIX), a potential peer of insurance software stocks like small cap Benefitfocus Inc (NASDAQ: BNFT) and mid cap Guidewire Software Inc (NYSE: GWRE), is scheduled for before the market opens on Friday (November 7th). Aside from the Ebix Inc earnings report, it should be said that Benefitfocus Inc will report Q3 2014 earnings when the market closes today while Guidewire Software Inc reported Q4 2014 earnings on September 2nd. However, the Ebix Inc earnings report will be closely watched as it's the fourth most shorted stock on the Nasdaq with short interest of 53.62% according to HighShortInterest.com. These shorts began targeting Ebix Inc in the summer of 2013 when Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE: GS) terminated an agreement to acquire the company after reports of a probe of allegations of intentional misconduct with Bloomberg reporting the company was being investigated specifically f or money laundering.

It doesn't get much more simple than the setup in shares of Guidewire Software (GWRE). You don't have to be an expert technical analyst to figure out what's going on in this stock. All it takes is a quick look at the chart.

Guidewire is currently trending higher in a well-defined price channel, a setup that gives us a high probability price range for GWRE's shares to trade within. Now, with shares sitting at trendline support, we're coming on a timely buying opportunity; buying at support has proven prescient each of the last six times GWRE has tested the support level that it established in March. But it's still critical to wait for the bounce in shares.

Buying off a support bounce makes sense for two big reasons: it's the spot where shares have the furthest to move up before they hit resistance, and it's the spot where the risk is the least (because shares have the least room to move lower before you know you're wrong). Remember, all trend lines do eventually break, but by actually waiting for the bounce to happen first, you're ensuring the Guidewire can actually still catch a bid along that line.

Ste! w Milne/AP Considering that it's largely a brick-and-mortar retailer in a world that's buying more goods online, PetSmart (PETM) has posted some very good fundamentals recently. Given that, it might be a tempting stock for an investor to own. But it's not going to be on the market much longer. Under pressure from some of the private equity firms that own big chunks of it, the company has solicited bids for a sale, which will end its time as a stand-alone, publicly traded entity. Its venture into private waters is the latest in a series of such deals so far this year. Here's a look at several other companies that took (or are taking) themselves off the market in 2014. CEC Entertainment Even during its time on the high-visibility New York Stock Exchange, CEC Entertainment was not a familiar name. But the company's key property, the Chuck E. Cheese chain of hyperactive-themed restaurants aimed at kids, has been a well-known brand for years. That might be why CEC Entertainment and financial adviser Goldman Sachs (GS) were able to find a wealthy buyer so quickly after announcing their intention to go private this past January. A mere week after that came to light, investment management firm Apollo Global Management (APO) offered $950 million plus roughly $370 million in debt assumption for the company. As that offer represented an amount 25 percent or so higher than the stock's most recent closing price, CEC Entertainment readily accepted, and the deal closed in February. The company is probably better off in Apollo's arms. Chuck E. Cheese's one-stop dining and entertainment model is looking a bit creaky next to the many options for fun available to 21st-century kids. At the time of the deal's announcement, the company's results were sagging, with sales and net profit both declining in recent periods. Going private -- well, semi-private, as Apollo is a publicly traded entity -- reduces the pressure for the company to return to growth right away, and give

Best Industrial Disributor Stocks To Invest In Right Now

Best Industrial Disributor Stocks To Invest In Right Now: Health Care Select Sector SPDR (XLV)

Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (the Fund) seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance of the Health Care Select Sector of the S&P 500 Index (the Index). The Index includes companies whose primary business may include healthcare equipment and supplies, healthcare services, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

The Fund utilizes a passive or indexing investment approach and attempts to invest in a portfolio of stocks that seek to replicate the Index. The Fund's investment advisor is SSgA Funds Management, Inc.

Advisors' Opinion:
  • [By Chad Fraser]

Health care stocks continue to perform well.

The Health Care SPDR ETF (NYSE: XLV), the largest health care ETF by assets, is up 62% in the past two years, well ahead of the S&P 500's 38% rise.

An increase like that might lead you to think the sector's biggest gains are behind it. Not so, according to Philip Springer, chief investment strategist at our Personal Finance advisory.

"I believe this sector still offers good profit potential, fueled by such factors as aging populations, growing demand for care in emerging markets and impressive medical advances," he wrote in an article in the August 27 issue.

The numbers bear that out. Consider the following:

  • [By John Udovich]

Beaten down small cap home care and infusion stock BioScrip Inc (NASDAQ: BIOS) was recently called a potential takeover target, meaning its worth taking a closer look at the stock along with healthcare ETFs like the iShares Dow Jones US Health Care ETF (NYSEARCA: IHF) or the Health Care SPDR ETF (NYSEARCA: XLV). I should mention that during the third quarter of last year, we had BioScrip in our SmallCap Network Elite Opportunity (SC! N EO) portfolio after the stock had taken a beating but we also believed the company is on the verge of turning a profit and is potentially undervalued.

  • [By Tom Aspray]

If you are willing to spend the time and do the work, I think you can become your own investment analyst. These more active investors should consider a core position in an S&P-500-tracking ETF and then allocate to other industry-specific ETFs. So far in 2014, the Select Sector SPDR Utilities (XLU) is up 8.8% for the year. Not too far behind is the Select Sector SPDR Health Care (XLV), which is up 7.8%.

Advisors' Opinion:

This is extremely important for Anthem (NYSE: ANTM  ) (formerly WellPoint) which was the big Obamacare enrollment winner last year and has banked its success on courting Medicaid expansion enrollees as well. California's strong Medi-Cal enrollment so far is encouraging, but I'd reserve judgment until Anthem's fourth-quarter earnings report.

Euro Steady Above $1.33 Ahead Of Fed Meeting

The euro traded steadily above $1.33 on Tuesday as Europe prepared for the US Federal Reserve's two day meeting.

Despite recent poor data, the common currency got a boost over the weekend when Lawrence Summers dropped out as a candidate for Federal Reserve Chairman. Summers was rumored to be President Obama's first choice to replace Ben Bernanke, however widespread criticism caused him to withdraw from the race.

The euro's gains from Summers' resignation are likely to be short lived, as more data from the eurozone on Monday signaled that the region was not yet out of the woods. Data showed that workers' pay within the bloc rose by less than the rate of inflation, which will put pressure on consumer spending. However some eurozone leaders see the falling wages as a good sign which signals growing competitiveness.

Related: Market Primer: Tuesday, September 17: Markets Brace As FOMC Meeting Begins

Mario Draghi spoke on Monday in Berlin about the dire need for a centralized banking union within the bloc, saying that the union would help support a faster recovery. A recent meeting of the minds between eurozone policy makers ended without any forward progress on the union, and with German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble claiming the current proposal violates the EU treaty.

Bloomberg reported that Draghi considers the eurozone's return to growth in the second quarter as fragile and "in its infancy". He said that given the current conditions, the ECB will keep interest rates constant. In his opinion, the threat of a major breakdown has passed and now it is up to individual governments to address their budget gaps and fiscal health.

Advisors' Opinion:
  • [By Kyle Woodley]

The short, sucky answer? A lot:

Plans for a Gigafactory meant to produce millions of electric-car batteries ginned up excitement, but also raised eyebrows. The Wall Street Journal reported on skepticism in the space — including from heads at Volkswagen (VLKAY) and battery maker Highpower International (HPJ). Now, even planned investment partner Panasonic (PC) now sounds iffy on the project, with company Kazuhiro Tsuga saying “the investment risk is definitely larger.” Not good. There also was Teslas direct sales snafu. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie huffed and puffed and (on March 11) successfully blew down Teslas direct sales model, with the Motor Vehicle Commission approving a measure to enforce an already-existing ban on direct sales. On the flip side, Tesla has scored victories in New York and Ohio in the past month, and is making progress in Arizona (which has a little incentive on the board). Production of the Model X has been pushed further back, to 2015. Musk’s reasons — mostly having to do with focusing on bolstering Model S sales — are valid, but that doesnt really soften the blow of a longer wait for the much-anticipated addition to Teslas line. To address the issue of battery fires in the Model S, TSLA added titanium shields and aluminum deflector plates to new vehicles and offered to install them for free in all its existing cars. Teslas margins are excellent, and theres no hard number on the cost impact of the fix, but titanium aint cheap. This definitely isnt going to add to Teslas bottom line. What Now?

I wont belabor you with my bullish position on TSLA stock, but if you want, you can see it here. In short, Musk is a genius; Tesla ! products ! are quality and appeal to (and are priced for) the all-important luxury segment; and just given size and scale, TSLA has oh-so-much room to grow.

Advisors' Opinion:
  • [By WALLSTCHEATSHEET]

Dish Network is a provider of local and national television programming offering more channel options than many other providers. The stock is on a bullish run and is trading at prices not seen since the mid-2000s. Over the last four quarters, investors ha! ve not been to excited with the company as earnings and revenue figures have been decreasing. Relative to its peers and sector, Dish Network has been an average performer, year-to-date. WAIT AND SEE what Dish Network does in coming quarters.

  • [By Jonathan Berr]

DTV has jumped almost 30% this year, on par with peers like Dish Network (DISH) and Comcast (CMCSA). One reason for DTV’s outperformance has been its strong international business and its satisfied customers. During the most recent quarter, DirecTV’s churn rate fell to 1.61% — its lowest quarterly churn in more than 6 years.

The company?s key development programs with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) include the RELOVAIR, a Phase 3 clinical trial program for the treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and/or asthma; the LAMA/LABA program, a Phase 3 COPD program; and the Bifunctional Muscarinic Antagonist-beta2 Agonist (MABA) program, a Phase 2b program for the treatment of COPD, as well as Peripherally Selective Mu-Opioid Receptor Antagonist (P Advisors' Opinion:

  • [By Sean Williams]

Perhaps the most exciting new treatment to hit the market in years was recently approved by the FDA. Developed by GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE: GSK  ) and Theravance (NASDAQ: THRX  ) , Breo Ellipta is a dry powder drug delivered by inhaler and meant to provide long-term relief of air-flow obstruction and reduce COPD exacerbations. The two companies are collaborating on a handful of potentially revolutionary new COPD treatments that combine Theravance's long-acting beta-2 agonists with Glaxo's long-acting muscarinic antagonists. Its next treatment, Breo Anoro, is currently under review by the FDA.

  • [By Jonas Elmerraji]

First up is $4 billion biopharmaceutical firm Theravance (THRX). It's been one heck of a year already for THRX's shareholders. Since the calendar flipped over to January, shares of the firm have rallied more than 75%. But the setup forming in shares points to even higher ground for the final quarter of 2013.

That's because Theravance is currently forming an ascending triangle pattern, a bullish setup that's formed by a horizontal resistance level above shares at $42 and uptrending support to the downside. Basically, as Theravance bounces in between those two technical levels, it's getting squeezed closer and closer to a breakout above that $42 resistance level. When that happens, traders have a buy signal.

Whenever you're looking at any technical price pattern, it's critical to think in terms of those buyers and sellers. Ascending triangles and other pattern names are a good quick way to explain what's going on in a stock, but they're not the reason it's tradable. Instead, it all comes down to supply and demand for shares.

That $42 is a price where there has been an excess of supply of shares; in other words, it's a place where sellers have been more eager to step in and take gains than buyers have been to buy. That's what makes a breakout above it so significant -- the move means that buyers are finally strong enough to absorb all of the excess supply above that price level.

Don't be early on this trade.

  • [By Sean Williams]

Finally, Theravance (NASDAQ: THRX  ) made waves after announcing that it would be splitting its business into two separate components: Royalty Management, which will focus on drugs currently in the pipeline in collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline, and Theravance BioPharma, which will continue its line of small-molecule rare disease research. Clearly, this gives investors more visibility of where revenue and profit are coming from, but I think it gives Glaxo even more reason to gobble up the Royalty Management segment because now it doesn't have to buy the remaining pipeline of rare disease research.

    A revolutionary COPD treatment?
On Wednesday, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD, treatment collaborators GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE: GSK  ) and Theravance (NASDAQ: THRX  ) are set to go before the FDA's panel with their combo Breo Ellipta. This revolutionary drug combines Theravance's long-acting beta-2 agonists with Glaxo's long-acting muscarinic antagonists into a dry powder inhaler to provide long-term COPD relief.

Critics of real estate portalsZillow (NASDAQ: Z  ) andTrulia (NYSE: TRLA  ) have long thought both companies represented poor business models, and the $3.5 billion all-stock merger of the two isn't about to change anyone's mind.Although there's been a lot of ink spilled about the benefits to accrue from combining the two real estate info houses, this may end up being less a fortuitous joining of forces andmore like the merger of declining retailers Sears, Roebuck and Kmart that resulted in Sears Holding, which is still a sickly business today.

Aside from the Zillow Inc earnings report, it should be said that Move Inc reported Q2 2014 earnings on July 29th (revenue rose 7% to $61.3M, average monthly unique users of realtor.com庐's web and mobile sites grew 18% to 31.2M and Non-GAAP Loss Per Share was $0.03 per diluted share verses Non-GAAP Earnings Per Share of $0.11) and Trulia Inc reported Q3 2014 earnings on October 29th (total revenue rose 67% to $67.1M along with an adjusted net loss of $2.8 million, or $0.08 per share on a basic and diluted basis, compared with adjusted net income of $9.1 million, or $0.26 and $0.24 per share on a basic and diluted basis, respectively). The acquisition of Move Inc and Trulia Inc though (assuming the Federal Trade Commission approves the deal)really leaves Zillow Inc as the main publicly traded online real estate information.

www.ea.com There were plenty of winners and losers this week, including a merger of two fast-growing real estate website operators and a theme park operator taking another hit. Here's a rundown of the week's smartest moves and biggest blunders. Tesla Motors (TSLA) -- Winner The country's coolest automaker -- and one of the hottest stocks over the past two years -- continues to grow in popularity. The maker of luxury plug-in electric cars posted a better than expected adjusted profit in its latest quarter, with revenue nearly doubling. Tesla is on track to deliver 35,000 of its Model S sedans this year. It also announced on Thursday that it expects to produce 60,000 cars next year as the Model X crossover joins its lineup. Tesla's rich multiples aren't for the squeamish, but the company seems to be revolutionizing the automotive industry. One can only imagine how things will be when it starts rolling out its more reasonably priced Model III car in three years. SeaWorld (SEAS) -- Loser SeaWorld can't seem to catch a break, even when misfortune results in denial. SeaWorld and Southwest Airlines (LUV) are ending their marketing partnership after 26 years. The relationship had Southwest promoting the marine life theme park operator on some of its planes and SeaWorld offering Southwest-branded relaxation and charging stations. Anti-SeaWorld protestors had demonstrated at Southwest's headquarters earlier this year, and more than 32,000 people had signed an online petition at change.org urging the air carrier to end its association with SeaWorld. However, this already unfortunate story makes the cut this week because of SeaWorld's explanation on why the two companies will part ways when the latest contract is up at the end of the year. "With an increasing international visitor base, SeaWorld is looking to focus on new and growing markets in Latin America and Asia, among others," SeaWorld explains in a joint statement with Southwest, almost as if it's saying that
